1900s Carved Celluloid Brooch With Brass Dragon Design

Detailed brass dragon on long celluloid piece.
Dragon is pegged with two nails to hold it to the celluloid.
C closure and marked “BF & CO” on the back plate.
Back plate has a curve but still closes nicely.
Measures approximately 2.75 inches by 3/9 inches.
Good antique condition.
